Green Tea Prostate
The journal Cancer Prevention Research indicates the other side in the June issue past that green tea consumption may reduce the progression of prostate cancer, according to a research by scientists at Feist-Weiller Cancer Center, depedniente Sciences Center Health at the University of Louisiana (southern U.S.).
“The agent used in the tests (polyphenols) may have the potential to reduce the incidence and progression of prostate cancer,” said James Cardelli, one of the researchers.
Numerous studies cited by this team of scientists have suggested that antioxidants in tea polyphenols may reduce the progression not only prostate cancer but also of gastric, esophageal and skin.
These same studies have indicated that also help to prevent Alzheimer’s disease and blood clots and lower cholesterol levels.
Also it is found that continuous infusions of tea help you lose weight in a healthy way, if combined with reduced calorie intake.
Cardelli indicates that the studies so far had not credibly established the effect of polyphenols on markers of prostate cancer than are those that show the progression of the disease. “These investigations are only the beginning and much remains to be done,” said the scientist, however.
People with a good vitamin B in your blood

People with a good vitamin B in your blood may have a lower risk of lung cancer, even if they smoke, according to a new European study.
The study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association shows that having high levels of vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) and the amino acid methionine cut the risk of cancer in more than half.
This study was conducted in more than 400,000 people. Where these substances could be found naturally?. We can find in nuts, fish, meats. We can also take them by way of supplements. The researchers say that quitting smoking is still the best way to reduce the risk for these cancers.
The team of researchers shows that a good diet is always the key to preventing such evils, take vitamins at the discretion is not the idea and is still too early to say that taking them can have extra protection. It has been observed that people who follow a healthy diet could reduce cancer risk.
The general B complex can also be found in whole grains and fiber we consume. From this it follows again that eating healthy is important and that keeps us in a lower health risk.
Vitamin C would Neutralize the Effects of Chemotherapy

Many patients who use vitamin C may be affected in the process of eliminating cancer cells, as this type of supplement would increase tumor growth.
A study published in the journal Cancer Research, noted that vitamin C may neutralize the effectiveness of anticancer drugs.
According to scientists at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in the United States, laboratory tests found that when they are used with vitamin C cancer drugs eliminated between 30% and 70% fewer cancer cells than other drugs.
Furthermore, when human cells implanted in mice, scientists found that when given vitamin supplements in rodents two hours before chemotherapy increased the development of tumors.

The Diet of Fiber

Fiber-rich foods play a major role for good nutrition.
Well known for its low calorie, fibrous foods like celery, green leafy vegetables, vegetables, apples, also have major benefits for weight control. Require more time to chew properly and are evacuated from the stomach more slowly, which helps to control feelings of hunger.
This plan will allow us to eat rich, while at the same time, control cholesterol and down some extra kilos.
Consuming foods rich in fiber will reduce the symptoms of constipation, diverticulosis and some types of intestinal irritation. Fiber without being absorbed by our body, remains in the intestine, stimulating peristalsis, increasing stool bulk, thus the daily evacuation is well benefit.

Antioxidant Vitamins

The antioxidant power of vitamins E and C, as other substances that give color and flavor to fruits and vegetables such as flavonoids, polyphenols, carotenoids, carotenes (the latter two are converted in the body in provitamin A) have demonstrated a important role in preventing cardiovascular disease, cancer and aging.
Today we know that the aging process and the emergence of some diseases, is due to the effect of “free radicals”. That is, certain particles oxidizing our cells. They have a useful role for our body to fight off bacteria, but in return are responsible for the hardening of our arteries (atherosclerosis). We can fight free radicals using a diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables, olive oil and red wine in moderation. They play a vital role in cleansing and detoxifying free radicals.
More than half of the vitamin A and almost all the vitamin C we need to provide fruit. Many vegetables also contain vitamin C but not part of cooking them destroys this vitamin, hence the importance of eating fruit or raw vegetables. Remember that vitamin C increases the absorption of iron, calcium and phosphorus
