Poor Metabolism Cause Constipation
Constipation is a delay or difficulty in evacuating stools. It may be occasional (travel, pregnancy, etc) Or chronic. The frequency of bowel evacuation varies from person to person, ranging from three times a day to three times a week. We can talk about constipation if the stool is hard, dry and difficult to evacuate. This usually occurs if fewer than three bowel movements per week.
Constipation can be either increased (or transit), that is to say that the tie stagnant too long in the colon or terminal (or discharge), that is to say that accumulate in the rectum. Both problems can coexist in one person.
Causes
- In most cases, constipation is caused by poor eating habits, physical inactivity, stress, anxiety or the presence of hemorrhoids or anal fissures that make the person refrains from defecating.
- Delaying the removal of feces when envy is felt is another common cause of constipation. The longer they stay long in the colon, the feces become hard as rocks and difficult to evacuate. This is because the body through the colon, absorbs a lot of water present in the stool. Remember evacuation may also cause pain and anal fissures.
- In some people, at the time of defecation, the muscles of the anus (anal sphincter) contracts instead to relax, thus blocking the passage of selles14, 15. To explain this disharmony reflexes, assumptions often point to factors psychologiques16.
