Chocolate and cardiovascular health
The benefits of chocolate are sufficiently well documented as to enjoy that chocolate bar you have in your power with total conviction that makes you good. The list continues to grow and add more fuel to the fire with new evidence.
In the British Journal of Nutrition, a team of Italian researchers from the University of Milan published the results of an experiment conducted with approximately twenty volunteers, average age 24 years, who were offered a healthy diet for several weeks.
After having met the deadline, the researchers divided the group into two halves, one of which gave white chocolate and other chocolate gave them black. The results showed that the second group received a lower oxidative stress of DNA molecules, something associated with better cardiovascular health.
This shows that dark chocolate is an antioxidant that protects cells Dalnas of diseases such as cancer, and while its polyphenols act improving the health of your cardiovascular system.
